The collection, arrangement, and assembly of all content on this Site is the exclusive property of Aboriginal Art & Culture and protected by Australian and international copyright laws.

All Aboriginal artworks shown on this Site are protected by Aboriginal Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) rights, in addition to conventional copyright. These artworks may contain culturally sensitive material and traditional knowledge that belongs to Aboriginal communities and individuals.

3. Cultural Respect and Protocols

Users of this Site agree to respect Aboriginal cultural protocols. This includes acknowledging that:

  • Aboriginal art and cultural expressions are connected to specific Countries, communities, and cultural traditions
  • Some information and images on this Site may be subject to cultural restrictions
  • Any reproduction, adaptation, or commercial use of Aboriginal art requires appropriate permissions from the relevant Aboriginal artists, communities, or their representatives

  • You own or control all rights to the User Content you post
  • The User Content is accurate

  • Your User Content is respectful of Aboriginal cultural protocols and sensitivities

In addition to other prohibitions as set forth in the Terms of Use, you are prohibited from using the Site or its Content:

  • To solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts
  • To violate any international, federal, or local regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
